This is how we ended!!! NOT FUN.....
Our day turned into quite the scare as Carter started to complain of chest pain. Every complaint from Carter has to be taken serious. After monitoring for about 30 min and seeing no improvement, we went to the First Aid Clinic. His heart beat was too high. We ended up at Children's Hospital hooked up to machines per the advice of the paramedics and our pediatrician. His EKG and CBC was normal with the exception of the blood issues we already knew about. We were discharged and he hasn't complained since. Not sure what caused this episode (maybe anxiety), but we are grateful he is ok. We are also incredibly thankful for caring doctors and for Children's.
Such a good sport! Such a good attitude!
